Welcome to the official site of the Yale Graduate-Undergraduate Mentorship Initiative, a combined effort of the Yale Undergraduate Research Association and the Yale Graduate Student Assembly.
This program is intended to connect Yale undergraduate students with postdoc, graduate student, and professional student mentors from a wide range of fields. We hope that through these valuable mentorship relationships, mentors will be able to impart valuable advice onto curious, driven undergraduates and guide them on their academic journey.
We invite potential mentors to create a mentor profile on the GUMI database and interested mentees to explore the listings. Please also take a moment to review our code of conduct here.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: In accordance with Yale University’s COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, we insist that all GUMI mentor-mentee interactions take place either over a virtual platform (Zoom, Hangouts, etc.) or in a socially-distanced setting.
